While we look back at the life of Doctor Tang, his enthusiasm for problem solving and craftsmanship started to develop since childhood in the San Francisco region. Son to a carpenter father, Gordon Tang completed his degree in Engineering from UC Berkeley. It ignited his passion for solving various kinds of problems in the best manner possible. However, it does not stop here as being a degree holder in Philosophy, his fascination with mind and human brain got the right fuel. His fascination with mind led Gordon to enter medical arena by completing his graduation from the University of Southern California.
Dr. Tang worked hard on his surgical skills as intern with Los County Hospital. His training for Ncontinued at Emory University and Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard University. The doctor spent additional year specializing in spine surgery. During his academic time, he authored more than hundred publications along with presentations. He also received around twenty awards inclusive of national awards in the arena of cerebrovacular, socioeconomic research and spine.
He takes pride in overcoming the challenge of applying theory into practice throughout the 6000 surgeries. He received several awards such as the one by Castle and Connolly as the Top Doctor or Best Doctors for ten years in a row.
